EAVES DOUBLE TILE

A unique wavy 'S' profile with clean, crisp lines yielding bold European architecture. Interlocks at head and side for maximum protection against heavy tropical rain.
Used to cover a 3-way intersection where roof ridge meets with 2 hips. Used at the peak of 4-sided pyramid roof where 4 hips meet. Used to luminate any area desired. This tile has the same "S" profile and interlocks seamlessly with all GCI tiles. Used at left edge of a straight roof to give a similar wave finish at left edge of roof. Similar to Eaves Standard Tile but used only at left roof edge to match Double Tile.

HIP END

Used where 2 roof eaves join for the Hip End/Ridge End to rest on. Provides better finishing and water-tightness. Used at the bottom most row of roof i.e. eaves. It prevents vermin and bats from entering roof. Besides, it provides a solid, elegant finish to roof eaves. Used at the bend (135°) of a horizontal / main ridge. Sits on top of UPVC vent pipe. It connects UPVC vent pipe via a PVC reducer to collar tile and ceramic vent set. Removes flashing need around UPVC air vent pipe. For roof pitch 25° - 45°. Used on inclined ridge i.e. Hip formed by 2 adjoining sloped roofs. Taper shape with internal width 140mm at head and 190mm at tail. Coverage: 3 pieces / metre. Starter tile at eaves area of a roof hip. It gives an aesthetic finishing and water-tightness.

RIGHT VERGE TILE

Used on horizontal / main ridge formed by 2 roof slopes. Internal width 220mm. Coverage: 3 pieces / metre. Similar to Ridge Connecting Standard Tile but used only at left roof edge to match Double Tiles. Used at the topmost row of roof below Ridge Tiles. Eliminates the use of cement and mortar. Facilitates escape of warm air from below the roof thus improves roof ventilation. Starter tile at eaves area when Ridge Tiles are used for roof hip. Used for capping horizontal ridge ends. It overlaps on both Left and Right Verge Tiles to provide a good finish.

Provides water-tightness to roof edge and lends a solid appearance. Fixes onto wooden fascia board beneath Standard Tiles on right hand side of roof.

LEFT VERGE TILE

Similar to Right Verge Tile but used beneath Double Tile on left hand side of roof.

SNOW STOPPER TILE

Alternative to verge tiles. Used for both right and left roof edges. It overlaps on Standard and Double Tile. Gives more lapping allowance; unlike verge tiles where roof width must be exact for proper installation. It is suitable in re-roofing of old roof where roof width and fascia boards are fixed and not adjustable. Used universally to cap multi-forked ridge/hips e.g. 5-way, 6-way, 8-way to provide water-tightness. Available in 2 versions for connecting or cone-shaped apex. Laid over metal valley gutter to give a better finish to roof valley. It allows proper seating and securing of cut tiles with cement mortar. For roof pitch of 20° - 40°. Facilitates air flow below the roof. It prevents water condensation and humidity on underside of tiles. Installed across a roof slope at 5-feet spacing and at the 5th or 6th row from roof ridge. If used together with Ridge Connecting Tiles and/or Ventilation Tape, it greatly improves roof ventilation and brings down roof temperature. In places where tall TV aerial are used, this tile is used to tie stay wires which hold tall TV aerial rod in position. To secure the tile properly, tie underside of tile with wire to truss/batten. Can also be used to tie copper tape (for lightning protection). Used in countries where snow fall.
